Advances in mobile communications and technologies have created new, valuable tools in the field of health care management. There are 5 billion mobile phones around the world, with 80% of the population having a mobile phone. This has led to the creation of applications designed to monitor health conditions. This course is based upon a literature and commercial apps review of the eight most prevalent health conditions, as categorized by the World Health Organization (WHO).
