CEU Course Description

Inflammation of the synovial membrane plays an important role in the pathophysiology of osteoarthritis (OA).  The goal of this CEU course is to evaluate the effects of low-level laser therapy (LLLT) on joint inflammation.


CEU Course Objectives

  1. Explain the main goal for the control of OA.
  2. Investigate the key source of inflammatory cytokines.
  3. Compare and contrast the impacts between 50 mW and 100 mW LLLT.
  4. Identify the histological changes seen in the synovial membrane in OA.
