CEU Course Description
The goal of this CEU course is to provide medical treatment guidelines for physical therapists for thoracic outlet syndrome as related to general guideline principles; definition of thoracic outlet syndrome; initial diagnostic procedures; follow-up diagnostic imaging and testing procedures; non-operative therapeutic procedures; and operative therapeutic procedures.
CEU Course Objectives
1. Discuss the goals of active therapeutic exercise programs.
2. Explain the factors that may contribute to thoracic outlet syndrome.
3. Describe the steps of the Upper Limb Tension Test.
4. Identify the muscles that should be targeted for correct timing and recruitment during neuromuscular re-education.
