CEU Course Description 

Adhesive Capsulitis is a condition that is difficult to diagnose, manage and find effective interventions for. The literature examining Adhesive Capsulitis has conflicting evidence on best clinical protocol and practice guidelines to improve symptoms of those impacted. This course will provide strategies using recent evidence for the Physical Therapist and Physical Therapist Assistant to recognize, examine, and provide effective interventions for patients with Adhesive Capsulitis. 

CEU Course Objectives 

  1. Identify range of motion deficits and stages of adhesive capsulitis within shoulder assessment 
  2. Define benefits and risks of conservative and non conservative treatment for adhesive capsulitis 
  3. Recognize populations at risk, symptoms and factors which may worsen adhesive capsulitis
