CEU Course Description
Hamstrings muscle strain often occurs during sporting events / activities where the muscle group is actively stretched by simultaneous hip flexion and knee extension movements. The goal of this CEU course is to examine the acute effects different dynamic exercise interventions on hamstring muscle performance.
CEU Course Objectives
1. Choose a common test to examine the hamstring muscle flexibility.
2. Describe how stretching techniques increase joint ROM.
3. Determine which mechanical factor can be associated with muscle performance after stretching.
4. List four primary risk factors for hamstring strain.
