Breast cancer related lymphedema (BCRL) is a prevalent complication secondary to cancer treatment which significantly impacts the physical and psychological health of breast cancer survivors.  The goal of this CEU course is to evaluate the effectiveness of low level laser therapy (LLLT) in the management of BCRL.

CEU Course Objectives

1.  Identify the conservative therapy that LLLT yielded a similar percentage of volume reduction.

2.  Name which benefit the current review provides strong evidence favoring LLLT over sham at short-term follow-up.

3.  Summarize what the cascade of secondary reactions at the cellular level, prompted by LLLT, leads to.
