CEU Course Description 

Low back pain (LBP) is a common and disabling health problem.  The goal of this CEU course is to identify potential muscular activity differences of the erector spinae muscle group between non-specific LBP individuals and healthy controls.

 

CEU Course Objectives

  1. Explain three things that spino-ligamentous injuries are considered to cause.
  2. Investigate the difference between healthy individuals and LBP patients with regard to muscle fibers.
  3. Identify the muscle group for which LBP has been considered to alter the physiological properties.
  4. Describe the EMG activity pattern that is seen with asymmetric trunk loading.
