CEU Course Description
Lung cancer is still the deadliest cancer in the world. Tai Chi is the Chinese traditional medicine exercise for mind-body health. The goal of this CEU course is to investigate the effect of Tai Chi Chuan (TCC) exercise on the proliferative and cytolytic / tumoricidal activities of peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) in postsurgical non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients.
CEU Course Objectives
1. Explain what increased natural killer cytotoxicity may be due to.
2. Identify which cell type significantly improved by a 16-week Tai Chi Chuan exercise intervention.
3. List three immune-related improvements that have been shown from exercise.
