CEU Course Description
Common challenges for the current health policies worldwide include the aging population, the increasing prevalence of evolving chronic diseases, and the care of people with multimorbidity and dependence. The goal of this CEU course is to describe the characteristics of patients diagnosed with motor impairment in primary care, the objectives of home-based rehabilitation, and its functional impact.
CEU Course Objectives
1. List three conditions for which the Barthel Index scores showed greater functional independence for the patients.
2. Name three reasons why the ideal place for rehabilitation is in the home.
3. Provide two key priorities to consider when optimizing the treatment and diversity of resources available.
